What better way to buy a wooden boat than to have it built for you. You will know the materials used are of the highest quality and that it will be built under the direction of our Master Boatbuilder instructors. We have been building fine Traditional Wooden Boats since 1982 and in 2004 added the exciting new element of Contemporary Wooden Boatbuilding.

And now you will be able to watch the progress of your Dream in the under construction portion of this website.

Choose from our list of preferred designs for the best value. These boats are carefully selected to meet the needs of our students, maintain our tradition of craftsmanship and provide you with an exceptional vessel.

Sid Skiff family

• Designed by west coast boatbuilding legend Ray Spec, who often teaches the class.

Contemporary craft

• Hadlock 23’ cold molded outboard launch designed especially for the school by Paul Gartside for our Contemporary Wooden Boatbuilding program.

We also consider custom commissions on a cases by case basis. Any project must compliment our curriculum and enhance the student experience. We may also accept commissions for repair and restoration work.
