Non-accredited courses

Full-time non-accredited programs

These full-time weekday programs are offered by the school in conjunction with experts in related maritime trades and provide comprehensive training in subjects not found in other settings.

Supplemental courses

Supplemental courses are offered on campus in the evenings and on weekends. This scheduling makes it convenient for our full-time students to be able to participate during their terms.

These supplemental courses vary in length from one day to several weeks and may inlcude courses on sailmaking, rigging, blacksmithing, design and more.

Workshops

Workshops vary in length from one day to several weeks and usually run from late June through early September.

Registration
Courses are filled on a first come, first serve basis so register early!
Class size is determined by the instructor and kept small so that each student receives quality instruction and personal attention. If a class is fully registered you may be put on a wait list. The school will contact you if a space opens up.
Tuition
Tuition is as stated in the course description and may include a materials fee. Full payment for courses $300 and under is required at registration. All other courses require a 50% deposit at registration. The remaining tuition cost is due 30 days prior to your class beginning.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations received 30 days prior to class beginning will receive a full refund less a $75 fee. After that no refund will be given but all monies (less the fee) can be applied to any course within 15 months of the cancelled class.
